BAND MEMBERS
PAUL BRAKE
Paul Brake takes the stage with his familiar top hat. His outgoing personality makes him a crowd favorite. Paul plays rhythm and lead guitar, sings a few songs, and provides back-up vocals. As a kid, Paul always imagined himself playing in his own band, and he has made his childhood dream come true. His perseverance to ‘never give up’ on his dream helped coin the band name—No Surrender. He would not surrender his desire to play on the big stage.
BRIAN HILL
His mama always said he marched to the beat of his own drum. That is exactly how he started. He received his first drum kit at the age of 12. Brian then went on to hone his skills in his high school marching band and continued playing at Murray State. Brian provides the beat that drives No Surrender’s high-energy performance. Generally speaking, he is the most laid-back of the group, but he knows how to cut loose when it’s time to “break it down.”
CHRIS RICH
Chris Rich is the lead vocalist and front man for No Surrender. He loves to entertain the audience with his enthusiastic personality and stage presence. Chris has played with several bands in the area, and started playing the guitar at the age of 14. His vocal ranges allow him to sing various genres. He is an excellent singer and guitarist, and he knows how to win the crowd over at every show. Chris is a multi-talented musician and a one-of-a-kind performer.
DAVID STEPHENS
David Stephens is a seasoned guitarist from Hopkinsville, KY. He has been shredding on a six-string for over thirty-five years. He has played in many bands in numerous venues around the region. Quite reserved and a man of few words, David really lets his guitar do the talking. He continues to amaze fans with his outstanding guitar skills, and he also accompanies the band with his keyboard .
JAYWOOD VINCENT
Jaywood Vincent really knows how to keep the band a groovin’ and the crowd a moovin’ with his rock solid bass playing. He started playing with his father during his teen years and has continued to develop his funky style. Once you meet Jaywood, you’ll know he’s a good ole
country boy that you want to hang with time and time again. Come out and watch
Jaywood perform—you won’t be disappointed!
